Here is my reason why I call the "double miracle" the best play. What other NFL play do you see two miracles happen in ONE play? I would put the holmes' up there because it was absolutely amazing. We will probably see that kind of play again, but we will probably never see a QB escaping a sack and a WR making a miracle catch in the SAME play again. As far as NFL blitz you just made me wanna go buy it again lol. I played it for PS1 not N64. You'll probably find it at gamestop.

Jamie: I kinda love how you are defending Michael Phelps. People often put these incredible athletes on these stages just to see them mess up. For God sakes, he swims for a living. What do they expect him to do on his off time? Break the time-space continuum? Doubt it.

Steph: I remember you telling me that story that Michael Phelps was a jerk when we first met last year and ever since this I've grown a disliking for him. haha I am an Ian Crocker fan though..

Santos: I'm not going to take away from Harrison's TD return..but the best play EVER?! That's kind of a reach. I firmly believe that both of Vinatieri field goals were pretty amazing. I would actually rank Holmes' catch in the endzone by the tips of his toes higher in best super bowl plays.
Where can I find a N64? I would totally buy it to play Blitz and 007. haha

The Cardinals had a chance to win it and the defense blew it at the end. Plus all those penalties I thought it would turn out to be a blowout but I was wrong. As far as Michael Phelps is concerned, it kind of made me laugh when I first found out he smoked weed. Kinda made me think where he got all that energy to win 8 gold medals lol. Give the guy a break he smoked where the green stuff was legal anyway so why should he be penalized?
Now as far as which was the better superbowl it is hard to say. They both have many things in common. First both games featured offensive powerhouses that lost. Both games had exciting 4th quarters. Both games had spectacular plays by the winner (Double miracle[which is my nickname for eli escaping and the tyree helmet catch], and the harrison int return for a TD. BTW I dare you to find a better play than the double miracle cuz thats the best play in NFL history in my opinion(and its not because I am a gmen fan). Both games featured QBs from the 2004 draft driving down the field with 2 minutes left to win the game. Both game winning touchdowns were with 35 seconds left. Finally both MVPs wore #10. Wow its hard to say. I'd go with steelers cardinals because there were more big plays and it featured a near comeback for the ages, and there was more scoring. Plus more people watched it than last years superbowl which could make the case.
BTW I feel ya on the NFL blitz because that was my favorite football game for the same reason that I loved the free hits after the play was over lol.

Okay I'm not going to defend Michael Phelps because at the end of the day I still can't stand him. (Phelps you know why) And all of the guys on the Olympic swimming team smoke weed. Important examples Aaron Peirsol and Brendan Hansen. Anyone ever see hottest bodies on VH1? And the Pats/Giants superbowl was a lot better.

Oh, and:
Which Super Bowl was better?
A) Super Bowl XLII - New England Patriots Vs. New York Giants
Why: Because I actually cared about the outcome, even though the rules of football still escape me.

Dude, who cares if Michael Phelps smokes? People are making a big deal out of nothing. Yes, he may be a role model, but everyone makes "mistakes". Nobody's perfect. He's 23. Let him do whatever he wants. He's won us 16 Olympic medals and holds 8 world records. What more do people want from him? He shouldn't have to apologize for doing what he wanted to do. I'm not condoning what he did, but if he was just a regular college kid, no one would care. It just sucks for him that he got caught. Come on, man. You're a public figure. Be careful. And I hate how society puts people on pedestals. Don't put them there if you don't want to be disappointed, which, by the way, you will be. We put them there in hopes of knocking them down. People are nuts.

Wow. I never thought I'd be defending Michael Phelps. Baha.
